About My Patterns

Here are a few of my more recent patterns. All of my designs are created with the idea that knitters will be using yarns from their stash and adding in other yarns if necessary. This is my style and what I like to do. It gives me pleasure to salvage small amounts of yarn and I hope you will get satisfaction from doing this as well. In visualizing my designs, my challenge is to incorporate basic geometric shapes in an unusual or interesting silhouette, and use a lot of different yarns, textures and fibers. I hope this style of knitting will be engaging, stimulating and enjoyable for you.

Mar 3, 2012: Riverside Knitting Guild

A program on using buttons in a garment (10 a.m.) and a workshop following the meeting on how to make a button band on a cardigan and how to make button bracelets. 12:30-2 p.m. Contact me for location.

April 26, 2012: Workshop on Creative Wrappers

This is a creative project to develop and create a shawl using various techniques and yarns. It is a perfect project to go to your stash and accumulate a collection of compatible yarns and colors, or to combine leftover yarns with new yarns. 12:30-3:30. Need to be a member of the San Diego North Coast Knitting Guild. $30 fee. Contact me for location.
